How we handle your details

Genesis is a product of Genesis Platform Limited, a company registered in Tanzania. This notice covers the details you leave on our launch page. It does not cover the Genesis application itself, which firms use under their own agreement with us.

What we collect

• What you type into the form: your name, your firm, your email, and if you choose to, your phone number and a message.
• Where you came from, if the link you followed said so (for example, LinkedIn).
• A count of visits from Cloudflare Web Analytics, which sets no cookies and does not identify you.

Why we use it

Only to reply to you and to tell you about Genesis and its launch. You give us these details by sending the form, and you can take that back at any time. We do not sell or share them for anyone else's marketing.

How long we keep it

We delete a message 12 months after you send it, or sooner if you ask. If your firm goes on to use Genesis, the agreement with your firm covers what happens from then on.

Where it is kept and who sees it

• The Genesis team at Genesis Platform Limited.
• Our hosting provider, Laravel Cloud, on servers in the European Union (Frankfurt), and our email provider, which delivers your message to our inbox.

Because the servers are outside Tanzania, your details are transferred abroad. We handle that transfer under the Personal Data Protection Act, 2022 and its regulations.

Your rights

You can ask to see what we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. Write to hello@genesis.co.tz and we will answer within 14 days. If you are not satisfied, you can complain to the Personal Data Protection Commission at pdpc.go.tz.
